California: Death Valley and Joshua Tree National Parks

We decided on a trip to California to visit Death Valley and Joshua Tree National Parks and also to visit with friends in Los Angeles.

Each and every National Park is a treasure unto itself and has a unique personality.   To enjoy them to the fullest we have always allocated multiple days to spend in each park ….watching the introductory movie, checking out the exhibits, talking with the rangers, who are an expert source for the park and its history and also to learn about the types of trails within the park.

These parks were no different…each offered a special characteristic that resulted in it achieving such a stature…a National Park.   Rather than even attempt to try and explain how the park evolved over millions of years and describe the park today, we provided a website for each of our travel destinations for the detail that the parks and museums deserve.  .

Below are four slideshows with pictures and/or four pages of pictures ….please click on the link below and enjoy.
